Jeju Recycling Center

Since 9th grade, I have volunteered for the Jeju Recycling Center’s “Zero-Plastic Expedition,” which inspired my decision to study environmental science in college. I have participated in trash clean-ups at popular tourist sites like the Olle Trail and monitored the conditions of Jeju Island's beaches and forests. Additionally, I visited the Jeju Recycling Center to learn about the recycling process from engineers and engaged in clean-up events organized by Jeju Municipality and local environmental NGOs.
