Personal Research

I participated in the selective Research Program, focusing on addressing food waste in the Global Education City. My research explored bacterial combinations for accelerating food waste decomposition. A 50:50 blend of food-degrading and yogurt bacteria proved most effective for breaking down gummy bears and rice, while a blend with earthworm feces worked best for chicken breast. Key bacteria identified included Lactobacillus paracasei and Rhizobium leguminosarum, offering insights into microbial ecology and potential applications for sustainable urban waste processing.
